Through internships at CNN International and NBC5 In Burlington, Vermont, I have experience in busy newsrooms. I can turn packages, pitch stories and book guests on tight deadlines. At UNC, I anchored our student broadcast, Carolina Week. 

As a Carolina Connection and UNC Media Hub reporter, I wrote, recorded, edited, tracked and produced feature and hard-news stories for radio and podcast audiences. I placed in the top 10 in the Hearst National Journalism Championship podcast category.

I served as the Assistant University Editor for The Daily Tar Heel, breaking stories about campus administration, dark money in higher-education and student government. Beyond that, I support high school student journalism and assist aspiring journalists.
